Yuri was born in an isolated valley of the municipality of Mayari, at the South-East of Cuba, from a lineage of healers and clairvoyants in her family going back several generations.
Yuri has resided in Canada since 1997, but came to her current work and philosophy early in 2012. Intrigued by a television program on the ancient medicine of Ayurveda, Yuri found a correlation with a life-long medical condition allopathic doctors diagnosed her with the previous year. Doing research into the human energy field, Yuri soon began to take classes in Energy Healing schools, becoming aware of a number of contemporary spiritual teachers whose teachings impacted her entire life. While taking classes in Foot Reflexology, Yuri thought she was learning something "new", however, she was perplexed the day her teacher instructed massaging the legs for stomach conditions. As a child Yuri would visit her great-grandmother so she could have her healing rituals with herbs and chanting all over Yuri's body, while her grandmother would be praying and massaging the leg calves in order to cure stomach conditions.
Those school experiences awoke in Yuri a mighty force of inspiration. She was not only being directed to see her new path, but she knew in her core that she needed to honour, in every way, the work of her grandmothers.
Yuri has acquired in-depth knowledge of the human energy system, but her priority and passion is to assist others in their healing path with FOCUS, COMPASSION AND INTENTION.
